Your home base
International students in Queensland live in a wide variety of accommodation. Some students live in dormitories or student accommodation rooms which are provided by their college, school or university. If you are staying in one of these, you will receive information about your accommodation from your institution. Make sure you read the information carefully so that you understand the terms, your rights and your responsibilities while you are living in the accommodation.
Some institutions organise Homestay accommodation for their students. To find out more about living in a Homestay, click here.
Other students who are over 18 years of age will find rental accommodation, usually shared with other (local and international) students. Click here to find out more about renting accommodation in Queensland.
