How did you make the choice to study in Queensland?
I chose to come to QUT because of QUT’s strong reputation in engineering and I like the course structure of the Mechanical Engineering program. In addition, the QUT course fees and the cost of living in Brisbane are affordable.
What has been your best/most memorable experience during your time in Queensland?
I like the theme parks – Movie World, Sea World and Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is a great place to go to with friends during the semester breaks. Besides going to the beach on the Gold Coast, we also go to the local golf range to play putt-putt golf.
What advice would you give to friends who are coming to study in Queensland?
For anyone considering study in Australia, I suggest that they organise their accommodation and learn how to cook before they arrive in Brisbane.

My greatest achievement since being in Brisbane is becoming more responsible, decisive and independent.
